Renown and the Rolls¶
Renown measures what a realm has built: 1 renown for
every 1,000 resources invested.

Units count whether they are at home or on the march. Renown is recalculated as things are built, lost or sold, and regularly by the game loop (which picks up freshly mustered units).
Renown matters beyond the Rolls:
- it decides who is a fledgling and who may attack whom;
- it sets the plunder share and honour of a battle;
- the renown of the foremost lord caps every lord's quest points.
Renown destroyed and lost¶
Battles also count the value of what each side destroyed and lost, 1 renown per 1,000 resources of units and fortifications. Fortifications that are rebuilt for free do not count as lost.
The Rolls¶
The Rolls panel ranks every lord in the world:
