Akan Wiki¶
The old empire is broken. In Akan you are a lord with a single stronghold, your Seat, and the goal is to raise it into a realm by mining, building, study and war. The world keeps running while you are away: mines keep yielding, builders keep building and hosts keep marching.
This wiki explains every rule of the game. The tables of costs, stats and bonuses are generated from the game's own rules, so they always match the version you play.

Where to start¶

The game in a nutshell¶
- Mines need mana. Iron Mines, Runestone Quarries and Aether Condensers yield resources every second, but only if a Ley Tap (or another mana source) powers them. When mana runs short, every mine slows down.
- Vaults cap your stock. A full vault stops its mine, so build vaults as your yield grows.
- Everything takes real time. Buildings, lore, units and fortifications are paid up front and finish later. The Builders' Guild, Mage Tower and Muster Hall make them faster.
- Lore belongs to the realm. You study each discipline once and every stronghold benefits.
- Hosts march across the world to carry goods, settle new holds, scout, raid, salvage battlefields and quest in the Wilds. A host on the march cannot be attacked.
- Battles resolve on arrival. Up to six clashes decide who wins, what is plundered and what is left on the field. Great battles can tear a Skyhold out of the ground.
- Whatever sits in a stronghold can be plundered. Spend it, hide it on a slow march, or keep strong defences.
